Ceramic Membrane is a high-technology product that lies at the heart of this filter.
It is used worldwide in the food and beverage industries. Ceramic Membrane is a porous material. The pores are ultra-small, just 0,07–0,2 microns, which is smaller than bacteria and even some viruses. When the water reaches the membrane surface and is pushed through by the pressure, while everything from bacteria size upwards is separated out, the water, salts, and minerals pass through.
Another advantage of the membrane technology is that no chemical reagents, electrical or physical fields or phase transformations that lead to a significant change in the structure of water affecting biochemical processes are used during the water purification process.
Filter “Eco-Filter 0,1u” is designed for purification of tap water (from contaminants starting from bacteria size) by ultrafiltering ceramic membranes. The second stage in the form of a carbon block further purifies water from chlorine, organic compounds, extraneous odors and improves the taste of water.
